Trident Bookseller & Cafe has quickly become my favourite place to retreat to for a place that feels like a home away from home. You walk in to the smell of espresso, baked goods, and antique books. It reminds me of the old libraries you’d check your books out using a library card. That’s when the inspiration lightbulb struck me.

Trident is a Halifax gem with a rich history, the last thing I wanted was to disrupt the ecosystem with something that puts too much emphasis on “modernizing” their brand. I had to be delicate with my design choices, keeping aligned with its community & atmosphere.
